"This story is like a secret shared late at night with close friends."

Synopsis

Synopsis

When a young mother, Amanda Hucke, is robbed at gun point in front of her children, she is driven to retake control of her life. She hires a private investigator and confronts the people holding her back. But, as Amanda's desire for control turns violent, family and friends worry she has become delusional. In this haunting approach to classic noir mystery, Amanda shares her story and has us judge what is real.

Author's Bio

Hayden first gave writing a serious attempt as a journalist for his college paper. Afterwards, he didn't ignore the calling to write, he avidly filled journals. But, he didn't take a wholehearted stab at writing a more complete story until years later. Well into another career, Hayden carved out time each morning to write before his wife and son woke up, and before work. His first novel, Let Me Explain My Violence, was a five-year side project.
